Kerry Courageous

Check out this interesting interview with former Associated Press reporter Robert Parry about a young John Kerry’s work exposing the US government’s complicity with drug smuggling during the Iran-Contra era. It’s a shame Kerry feels he has to distance himself from his great work on that issue, and with Vietnam Veterans Against the War, in order to stay electable.

    Let’s not forget, lots of politicians did “good work” when they were younger. But then they become Democrats, support the bombing of innocent civilians, and run for President. What is that they say about “absolute power … something or other”? Can’t remember.
