Rev. Billy Bus Crash
-
We here at Clamor got some bad news about friends today. Reverend Billy (profiled in our new issue by Liz Wolfe) and about a dozen members of the Church of Stop Shopping were in a serious car crash last night just west of sweet home Toledo on the Ohio Turnpike. According to the Toledo Blade, about 11 people were taken to a hospital near the Indiana border after a trailer-truck rear-ended the Church’s bus.
While Reverend Billy might not agree, now might be time to visit the Church of Stop Shopping’s website and spend some green (yeah, yeah…stop shopping, buy stuff…I get it, we’re just trying to help). We’re pretty sure, however, that the Reverend Billy probably appreciates that the Blade reported the crash as if a choir from any old church was hit.
We at Clamor hope that everyone is all right and encourage everyone to remember that, while activism carries risks, no activism is much riskier still.

Thanks for the shout-out, guys. This is a rough patch but the support that’s come forward is really moving. Much love to you all - michael@revbilly.com
