The national nonprofit Trust for Public Land has secured a settlement that would save the 14-acre South Central Farm for permanent public use — if they can raise sufficient funds to buy out the current property owner.

According to a TPL press release circulated by the South Central Farmers yesterday, “the community goal is to raise $1 million in the next 30 days.”
