the Unaccountable States of America…
Following the flood, the national sentiment has quickly morphed to a furious boil, with no soon end in site. The more I dig for information, the greater my own fury becomes …
… for the lies by the president & chief of Homeland inSecurity;
… for the truths of ugliness, putrid and horror masked from the public eye, while the corporate media (MSNBC) flail to turn the national gaze elsewhere. Fortunately, we have reports from American citizens (like the EMTs) and foreign periodicals (the UK Guardian and Canada’s CBC) that are not consumed in the corporate media’s cess pool;
… for the ways that the idiotic President of the United States (iPOTUS) shows how incompetent and irrelevant he is. With FEMA to match.
Nonetheless, we must keep on. Some reputable sources include:
- Leftturn mag
- NOLA indymedia
- the Times-Picayune, cuz if you haven’t read it read the 2002 Pulitzer Prize winning forecast of just such a disaster.

I know it sounds ugly but we need to face facts as Americans, which is the President of the United States does not serve the interests of the American people. There was no real effort to try mobilizing the Katrina situation, because it was an experiment in the imposing of martial law. Ask why did the National Guard block rescue teams from several other nations? Why did Bush take his sweet time in responding to the situation?
In a pandemic emergency such as avian flu, Bush wants the military to take a community like in the film “Outbreak”, and regulate it like in “The Siege”. Is that madness or what? So called democracy is hanging by a thin thread in Bush’s hands. The military taking action will stamp it out completely, to benefit the New World Order. This is what Bush serves, the efforts of the international banking system (cartel) and the London financial district. Bush has said to hell with America and its people long ago.
Bush, was pleased to see Cindy Sheehan arrested after leading a protest against his ‘popular’ War in Iraq. His (Bush) popularity is delclining so fast, and he does not know what he must do to insure he can remain where he is. Still, he could not face Ms. Sheehan and answer her questions about why her son had to die. This would open the door for countless other parents to ask the same questions about the Iraq War. Now that would have to show accountability!
Author Kurt Vonnegut says George W. Bush should be impeached for what he has blundered through so far. Vonnegut calls Bush the ‘wrong actor for an American made for TV movie!’ This man is one of the only people I have heard use the ‘i’ word as a means of getting rid of Bush. Unfortunately, Bush has remained too long to be easily thrown out of office. Yet, the American people are starting to see through the lies that have been showered on us since 9/11.
Still, we must ask ourselves, is it time to take the big step while we still have the freedom to take it?
